Who Was Angad
Angad was the son of Vali, the mighty vanara king of Kishkindha, and nephew of Sugriva. His early life was shadowed by tragedy that could easily have made him an enemy of Rama: it was Rama's arrow that killed his father Vali during the conflict between Vali and Sugriva.
