Financial difficulty is rarely only about numbers; it brings stress, broken sleep and strain on relationships. In the devotional view, wealth (Lakshmi) is not just money but flow, stability and the grace to use resources wisely. Mantra jap calms the anxiety that clouds good decisions and invites prosperity, while you continue to earn, budget and save with honesty and care.

Maa Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, abundance and well-being, worshipped for prosperity that comes with peace and dharma. Kuber mantra for savings and security: Om Yakshaaya Kuberaya Vaishravanaaya Dhanadhaanyaadhipataye Dhanadhaanya Samriddhim Me Dehi Daapaya Svaha

1. Friday is Lakshmi's day; bathe and wear clean, preferably pink, red or yellow clothes. 2. Sit facing north (Kuber's direction) on a clean seat and light a ghee lamp. 3. Worship Ganesh first, then place images of Lakshmi and Kuber and offer red or lotus flowers, kumkum, and sweets like kheer or batasha. 4. Take a sankalp for an honest, debt-free and abundant life. 5. Chant your chosen mantra 108 times, mind resting on the sacred sound. 6. Conclude with the Lakshmi aarti and a prayer of gratitude. The evening after sunset is considered especially auspicious for Lakshmi.

Keep your home, especially the north-east and the place of worship, clean and clutter-free, as Lakshmi avoids untidy spaces. Keep the main door welcoming, fix leaking taps (a symbol of draining wealth), and store valuables in the north or south-west. Give regular daan (charity) however small, for giving keeps wealth flowing. Avoid waste and keep your word in money matters, as integrity is the foundation Lakshmi rests upon.
